Embark on a great ecological adventure to discover the East-Northeast coast of the Dominican Republic.

You will cross the lush landscapes of Miches and Sabana de la Mar to reach Los Haitises National Park, one of the most important karst sites in the world, famous for its unique fauna, exuberant flora and endemic species.

Start of the tour: cruise through the mangroves

On board a boat, you will sail through the largest mangrove swamp in the Caribbean, surrounded by dense tropical forest and small mysterious islets.

Keep your eyes peeled: you can observe many species of birds and a wide variety of crabs and fish.

Exploring the Ancestral Caves
You will then visit two impressive caves adorned with petroglyphs and engravings left by the Taíno, the first inhabitants of the island. These caves are also home to bats and other fascinating species.

Lunch break at the eco-friendly Paraíso Caño Hondo Hotel
Located at the foot of the mountain, this unique hotel is fed by a natural river with crystal clear waters.

You will enjoy a typical Dominican lunch while enjoying an exceptional natural setting.

For the more courageous, a refreshing swim is possible in the natural pools!

After lunch, head to Montaña Redonda aboard a Safari Truck!

This iconic mountain offers a breathtaking panorama: view of the bay of Samaná, the peninsula, two large lagoons (Limon & Redonda), and the eastern mountain range.

Once at the top, let yourself be tempted by the famous giant swings for an unforgettable souvenir photo!

Return to your hotel at the end of the day.
